With this question Christoph Strünck (University of Siegen) concluded his speech in today’s Evening Lecture. The background for this question was his considerations on (individual) requirements and needs assessments within social services. A socio-political view of social services shows that needs assessments are often the focus of services. Individual requirements are less focussed on in this context. Standardised addressee-oriented impact research with a stronger focus on the addressees’ requirements could be a fruitful approach for the Research Training Group.
