Due to the measures taken to contain the corona virus and the associated work from the home office, we have digitalised the qualification and mentoring programme, so that the Research Training Group was able to start on April 1, 2020. We make frequent use of video conferencing to ensure inter-collegial exchange for the doctoral students and other participants. In addition to initial feedback discussions and the start of work in small groups, our first colloquium took place on April 15, 2020. The main focus of the colloquium was one of the central questions of the Research Training Group: “How do consequences emerge?”. In this context we dealt centrally with the topic “Causality and Causality Theory”. The following picture gives a small impression of our lively and constructive discussions:
