Workshops on research design and research ethics

This week there were two workshops as part of our qualification concept. For the second cohort, an event on research design in education and educational sciences was offered by the HYT. Daniel Müller spoke about basic questions that should be considered at the beginning of a research project. Another workshop focused on issues concerning research ethics. The workshop primarily aimed at the colleagues of our first cohort, though interested guests were welcomed. The speaker Julia Haberstroh gave exciting insights into the topics of ‘good scientific practice’, confidentiality and principles of research ethics, especially concerning publication practices.
