Finding and implementing your own structure

Speaker: Annika Bartsch

Target group: PhD students, Post-Doc

The deadline for an assignment is coming close, and yet another week has gone by when you felt like you didn’t get enough done? You know when your dissertation is due to be submitted and are wondering how to plan and organize the following months or years so that you end up with a finished piece of work in your hands without night shifts and time pressure?

Scientific work demands a high degree of self-organization and motivation. The workshop is designed to help you review and contrive the way you work so that you can use your time more efficiently and get through your day with less stress. Through practical exercises, you will learn how to develop and maintain self-organization that is appropriate for your situation. In addition to an introduction to the central models and methods of time and self-management, the workshop will focus on reflecting on your goals and your personal work situation as well as dealing with disruptive factors and procrastination.

It is possible to participate in the workshop. Interested parties can register bindingly until 05.12.2023 with Selina Heppchen (selina.heppchen@uni-siegen.de). Participation is free of charge.
