Last Wednesday, June 1st, 2022, Michael Winkler gave a lecture on the topic “Subject and Time. A Challenge for Social Care”. Based on descriptions and own observations of current projects, Michael Winkler raised questions for reflection on one’s own professional practice: Do the increase in research and its successes possibly lead to a narrowing of concepts? Even to an objectification? What meaning does a concept such as identity have for a subject, or is subjectivity/a broad concept of identity only to be recognized in a processuality? What is the significance of historicity and the individually experienced time of persons? These and many other questions and theses were dealt with in the course of the Evening Lecture. The lecture was followed by an inspiring discussion.
