Organized by doctoral researchers from the Research Training Group “Consequences of Social Services”, our conference, entitled “SURPRISING FINDINGS: Empirical, Method(olog)ical and Theoretical Perspectives from Interdisciplinary, User-Oriented Consequence Research”, will take place on 11-12 March 2027 at the University of Siegen.
Aimed at an academic audience from research and higher education, as well as at students in the educational, human and social sciences, the conference invites scholars from various disciplines and career stages to engage with “surprising findings”, unexpected developments and findings in consequence research, and discuss them in a collegial setting.
Welcoming contributions in the form of panel papers or scientific posters, we encourage submissions from the above-mentioned fields. Students, too, are expressly invited to apply with their own proposals.
Abstracts have to be submitted before 23 August 2026. We look forward to your contributions!
