It was with a big thank you that we bid farewell to our long-standing and highly esteemed colleague Selina Heppchen as scientific coordinator of the Research Training Group (RTG) at the last colloquium this summer semester. Selina Heppchen analyses juvenile delinquency in the context of research on the consequences of social assistance. Her recent publications include a special issue of “Neue Praxis” on causality together with Zoë Clark and Bernd Dollinger. She was part of our team since the preliminary study for the RTG. Since then, she has supported the RTG with her excellent expertise in addressee-based impact research. In addition, she organized the qualification and supervision program of the RTG smoothly and prudently – and shaped it very much through the cordial cooperation with her. We are very pleased that Selina Heppchen will remain with us as an associate member.
