The Research Training Group implements a comprehensive study programme consisting of compulsory and optional courses. It structures individual support in three phases and is supplemented by renowned international guest researchers, associated professors and mentoring.
Phases of the Research Training Group
Basic phase: Development of the research question with a focus on the consequences of social services work, planning of the research process, selection and justification of research methods in consideration of the five guiding questions and the other research projects of the research group, research ethics and data protection, data collection
Phase of concretization: Further development of the research process in comparative dialogue, data collection and evaluation, elaboration of chapters and papers, presentation and discussion within and outside the Research Training Group
Final phase: Comparative discussion of the research results, consolidation and finalization of central passages of the thesis, concrete planning of the further career after the PhD
