Workshop on gender diversity at work – taught in a practical way

The 10th German Diversity Day and IDAHOBIT* 2022 took place at the University of Siegen. The Equal Opportunities Office and the Diversity Policies Officer invited interested parties to participate in a workshop on gender diversity. Trainer and Workshop leader Né Fink provided an overview on current discussions on gender science as well as on problems concerning work life. The inclusion of all genders at work has always been a concern for the Research Training Group “Consequences of Social Services Work”. Raising awareness of gender diversity and how to deal with it appropriately in a working context are important topics which will continue to accompany us in the future. We would like to thank our trainer and workshop leader, the organizers as well as other participants for professional inputs and impulses for the implementation of inclusive measures in work structures.
